Clean Up Your Own Back Yard! (and who’s responsible for all that litter?)
Once again we are calling for volunteers to help us clean our very own special piece of coastline and village. Please help. All types of rubbish has been washed up from the sea and we like to keep the beach and Thorpeness clean if just to help out our environment a little bit. Again we need a full turnout!
Meet at The Dolphin Inn for coffee, distribution of pickers, plastic sacks and gloves and briefing at 10.30 am. When everywhere is clean we'll return to the Dolphin for a complimentary glass of wine, a sausage and a bit of cheese along with traditional tall tales from the sea and prize giving for the best and most creative stories about unusual items of rubbish collected. Children and dogs are most welcome.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call Bill Crow on 01728 454641 for more information and to let him know you'll be there.
ONE FINAL PLEA: Do arrive on time, 10.30 am. Volunteers have had to be turned away in the past because all the equipment had been exhausted.
