A Defibrillator is a life-saving piece of equipment used to deliver an electric shock to the heart of someone in cardiac arrest. Thanks to hard-working fundraisers and generous donations we now have a defibrillator installed at The Parrot but do you know how to use one?

Chris Theobald, landlord of The Aldringham Parrot has kindly arranged for Jayne Biggs, from the Charity Heart2Heart, to deliver a training event at the Parrot on 14th May at 6.30pm.

In a recent survey conducted by the British Heart Foundation, three quarters of people didn't feel confident enough to act if they saw someone having a cardiac arrest.

"It is important that everybody, young and old, learn how to use it," Chris said.

Please come along to support this event. If you'd like to learn more about what to do if someone is in cardiac arrest, visit the British Heart Foundation.
