Community Emergency Planning is about people understanding local risks and knowing what resources they have available to help minimise the impact of an emergency on their community.  Emergencies can take many forms, from major fires through to flooding or widespread power outages.  Experience shows that those who are prepared cope better during an emergency.  Our Community Emergency Plan gives direction and control for our initial response to an emergency, as well as access to local knowledge, resources and related information.

We are one of many community groups, towns, and parishes across Suffolk who have produced a plan making their community better prepared to respond and recover from incidents that may happen in their area.
