Suffolk Constabulary Launch New Approach to Crime Prevention
The brand, known as 1st Principle, originates from the founder of the modern police service, Sir Robert Peel, who identified nine principles of modern policing. The first of these principles was to prevent crime. To read more about the 1st Principle, click here.

Learn about the Sandlings Safer Cycling Campaign (SSCC) which aims to improve cycling safely on local roads and to set up off road cycling routes along the coast. Would you like to help?

The Rural Coffee Caravan visits Aldringham Green, Mill Hill, between April and October every second Tuesday of the month, and Thorpeness the following day, in the car park by the shop, behind the Dolphin Inn. Dates and times are shown on the Useful Information page.
The Mobile Library visits the Parish once every four weeks - see the Useful Information page for details.
Rainbow Tots parent/carer and toddler group, meets at the Aldeburgh Community Centre on Tuesdays during Term time, 10am to 11.30am - see the Community Groups section for more details.
On alternate Wednesday evenings the Ogilvie Pavilion & Sports Ground host the Wednesday Night Quiz, at the Thorpeness Ogilvie Pavilion & Sports Ground, starting at 8pm. See their calendar for Quiz details and much more.
Petanque matches take place on Sunday mornings during the summer, at the Parrot & Punchbowl Inn, Aldringham, and at the Dolphin Inn, Thorpeness, from 10am. Please come along to watch and perhaps join in. See the Petanque page for details of teams and other information.
